They are looking for a passionate, curious and highly analytical Business Intelligence Analyst, who loves problem solving, can apply context and rig our to large and complex data sets (sees the data from different lenses), and has the ability to stitch different data sets together to tell a complete picture.
A Business Intelligence Analyst who’s both technically strong and commercially sharp, someone who can connect the dots between data and the story it tells. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how they use data to drive strategic decisions across marketing, product, e-commerce, and finance.
You’ll sit at the intersection of data, engineering, and business strategy, ensuring data
integrity, analytical depth, and actionable insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
REPORTINGAND DATA MAINTENANCE
· Data Collection: Query and manipulate large data sets using SQL, Python etc to
· organize and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting from data
· from multiple sources.
· Reporting & Visualization: Build and maintain dashboards and reports (using BI tools
· like Looker Studio, PowerBI etc) to clearly communicate data trends and findings to end
· users, unifying data from multiple shopping platforms, ad platforms, site analytics and
· customer behaviour tools.
· Reporting Efficiency: Support efforts to continually improve data efficiency and
· speed-to-insights through automation.
· Data Integrity: Partner with engineering to validate data pipelines and maintain high
· data quality across ETL processes.
· Automation: Improve reporting workflows and data refresh speeds through automation and documentation utilizing platforms such as Big Query and Stitch.
ANALYSIS& INSIGHTS
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams(Marketing,
· e-commerce, Finance, CX) to understand their business problems, data needs, and
· strategic objectives
· Solution Recommendations: Translate data-driven insights into clear, strategic, and
· practical recommendations for process improvements, system modifications, and
· business decisions
· Performance Monitoring: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to evaluate performance, identify trends and anomalies, and measure the impact of business initiatives.
· Support Business Growth: Grow the business by sharing regular reports and insights
· with Growth and Retention Marketing, Business Operations, Finance, Customer Experience and Merchandising teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in are levant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
· Technical Proficiency:
· Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and
· manipulation.
· BI Tools: Proven experience with data visualization and Business Intelligence
· tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
· Spreadsheets: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
· Digital Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics
· Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
· Business Acumen: Solid understanding of retail business operations, processes, and objectives.
· Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
· 4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Business Intelligence role in a fast-moving eCommerce or Omnichannel environment
· Experience with paid media analytics, and marketing attribution tools
· Experience in digital analytics, utilizing tools like Google Analytics (GA4) or Adobe
· Analytics for tagging and analysis
· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
· Programming: Experience with a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python or R)
