Overview
As an Operations Manager, you’ll run the operational backbone of this brand, making sure they’re in stock, on time, and set up to scale smoothly. You’ll own supply chain, logistics, and inventory management, while also supporting customer service and product launches with clear processes and systems.

Within 12–18 months, you’ll have built systems and processes so that operations run smoothly without founder involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Inventory
· Coordinate with manufacturers (primarily China) on samples, production, and quality control
· Manage inventory planning and forecasting to balance cash flow with in-stock availability
· Maintain Shopify stock levels and integrate with planning tools
· Negotiate with suppliers for cost and quality improvements
· Source new suppliers and production partners as we scale
Logistics & Fulfilment
· Manage relationships with 3PL providers to ensure fast, reliable shipping
· Monitor and optimise logistics to reduce costs and delivery times
· Hold 3PL partners accountable to agreed metrics
· Ensure systems connect effectively with fulfilment partners
Operational Strategy & Process Improvement
· Build scalable SOPs across fulfilment, logistics, inventory, and support
· Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to support 2–3x growth
· Track and report key operational metrics (inventory health, delivery times, etc.)
· Systematise processes so daily operations can run without founder oversight
Support Functions (Oversight)
· Customer Service – provide oversight of their existing support team, ensuring clear processes and smooth escalation for complex issues
· Product Development – support the product/creative team by aligning launches with ops timelines and ensuring SKU setup and stock readiness
Experience & Qualifications
Must-Have:
· Proven experience in operations management in ecommerce
· Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and inventory planning
· Experience with demand forecasting and stock management
· Shopify and ecommerce tool experience
· Proven ability to implement systems and improve efficiency
· Strong communication and leadership skills
· Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Nice to Have:
· Apparel or consumer brand experience
· ERP experience
· Relevant certifications or degree
