Location: Remote Reports to: VP of ProductDevelopment Travel Required: Yes

With over 4 million hoodies sold in just three years, they areexpanding rapidly across categories and markets, and they are looking for adedicated Quality Assurance Manager to ensure their customers receive only thehighest-quality products.

 

Role Overview

The QualityAssurance Manager will be responsible for setting and upholding their qualitystandards across all product categories. This role ensures their global vendorbase, particularly overseas manufacturing partners, meets and exceeds U.S. andEU compliance requirements. The QA Manager will collaborate with ProductDevelopment, Technical Design, and Production teams to identify potentialissues, solve problems proactively, and deliver products that consistentlyreflect their brand promise of comfort and quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set Quality Standards: Define, document, and maintain their     quality benchmarks across product categories.
  • Vendor Compliance: Enforce adherence to quality standards with overseas     vendors and factories; conduct audits, training, and ongoing evaluations.
  • Testing & Compliance: Ensure all products meet U.S. and     EU quality and safety standards, including performance, durability, and     regulatory compliance.
  • Sample & Production Review: Oversee fit, workmanship, fabric,     trim, print/embroidery, and wash quality during sampling, pre-production,     and bulk stages.
  • Inspection Management: Conduct in-line inspections, size     set approvals, pre-production meetings, and pre-final inspections to     mitigate risk before shipment.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify root causes of quality issues and     drive corrective action with vendors and internal teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop QA SOPs, maintain     inspection reports, and provide visibility to cross-functional teams.
  • Training & Development: Lead quality training for internal     teams and vendor partners to continuously elevate standards.

·      Cross-FunctionalCollaboration: Partnerwith Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production to ensure quality is builtinto every stage of the process.

·      Categories:Apparel (Casual,Athleisure, Sleep), Kids and Pet Apparel, Home, Handbags, Luggage, Accessories.

 

Skills & Qualifications

·      15+years of experience in quality assurance/control within apparelmanufacturing.

·      Strongbackground working with overseas vendors (China, Vietnam, etc.).

·      Expertknowledge of U.S. and EU apparel quality and safety standards.

·      Provenability to conduct audits, inspections, and vendor training.

·      Excellentproblem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.

·      Highlyorganized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through.

·      Strongcollaboration and leadership skills across cross-functional and vendorteams.

·      Abilityto travel internationally for vendor visits, audits, and inspections.
