Our client designs and delivers elevated basics rooted in mental well-being, comfort, and confidence. With over 4 million hoodies sold in just three years, they are expanding rapidly across categories and markets, and they are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to ensure their customers receive only the highest-quality products.

 

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for setting and upholding their quality standards across all product categories. This role ensures their global vendor base, particularly overseas manufacturing partners, meets and exceeds U.S. and EU compliance requirements. The QA Manager will collaborate with Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams to identify potential issues, solve problems proactively, and deliver products that consistently reflect their brand promise of comfort and quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set Quality Standards: Define, document, and maintain their quality benchmarks across product categories.
  • Vendor Compliance: Enforce adherence to quality standards with overseas vendors and factories; conduct audits, training, and ongoing evaluations.
  • Testing & Compliance: Ensure all products meet U.S. and EU quality and safety standards, including performance, durability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Sample & Production Review: Oversee fit, workmanship, fabric, trim, print/embroidery, and wash quality during sampling, pre-production, and bulk stages.
  • Inspection Management: Conduct in-line inspections, size set approvals, pre-production meetings, and pre-final inspections to mitigate risk before shipment.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify root causes of quality issues and drive corrective action with vendors and internal teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop QA SOPs, maintain inspection reports, and provide visibility to cross-functional teams.
  • Training & Development: Lead quality training for internal teams and vendor partners to continuously elevate standards.

·      Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production to ensure quality is built into every stage of the process.

·      Categories: Apparel (Casual, Athleisure, Sleep), Kids and Pet Apparel, Home, Handbags, Luggage, Accessories.

 

Skills & Qualifications

·      15+years of experience in quality assurance/control within apparel manufacturing.

·      Strong background working with overseas vendors (China, Vietnam, etc.).

·      Expert knowledge of U.S. and EU apparel quality and safety standards.

·      Proven ability to conduct audits, inspections, and vendor training.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.

·      Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through.

·      Strong collaboration and leadership skills across cross-functional and vendor teams.

·      Ability to travel internationally for vendor visits, audits, and inspections.
