Overview

This fast-growing direct-to-consumer wellness brand is redefining recovery and sleep through products designed to deliver measurable impact. Having achieved strong early traction, the business is now entering a pivotal phase of expansion. Paid social particularly Meta, remains the primary growth lever. The business is seeking a senior performance operator who brings proven scale experience, strong pattern recognition, and disciplined execution into a high-growth, founder-led environment.

The Opportunity

The Senior Performance Marketing Manager will take full ownership of paid acquisition and lead the next phase of performance growth. This role is designed for an operator who has personally managed $1M+ in monthly ad spend, predominantly on Meta, within a scaled DTC environment and understands how strategy and execution must evolve as complexity increases. You will partner closely with the Founder and creative team to scale media investment responsibly, improve creative output, and establish repeatable systems that support long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end paid social performance, with Meta as the core channel.
  • Manage and optimise seven-figure monthly media budgets over time.
  • Increase investment while maintaining MER, ROAS,CAC, and contribution margin discipline.
  • Build and run structured creative testing systems across UGC, hooks, angles, and formats.
  • Translate performance insights into clear, actionable creative briefs.
  • Execute daily in-platform optimisation anddecision-making under budget pressure.
  •  Own attribution, tracking, and performance reporting (events, pixels, dashboards).
  • Evaluate and expand into secondary channels such as Google, TikTok, Snapchat, and App Lovin where commercially justified.
  • Partner with the Founder on forecasting, budget allocation, and growth planning.
  • Introduce process, structure, and performance standards appropriate for the next stage of scale.

About You

This role is intentionally built for an execution-first operator rather than a purely strategic leader. You are likely someone who:

  • Has worked within a $50M–$200M+ DTC brand.
  • Has personally owned $1M+ monthly Meta ad spend.
  • Has scaled through periods of rapid growth, creative fatigue, and attribution complexity.
  • Is comfortable staying close to the numbers and in-platform daily.
  • Thrives in founder-led environments with high accountability and pace.

Required Experience

  • 5–10 years in performance marketing within DTC oreCommerce.
  • Direct ownership of $1M+ monthly paid media budgets, primarily on Meta.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling paid social during rapid revenue growth.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager and paid social optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of short-form creative performance and iteration.
  • Experience operating in larger, scaled organisations

Nice to Have

  • Experience across Google Ads, TikTok, Snapchat, or App Lovin.
  • Shopify or Shopify Plus experience.
  • Exposure to mentoring junior marketers or partnering with in-house creative teams.
  • Background in wellness, supplements, sleep, beauty, or lifestyle categories.
